Pigeon handy Pro Chopper Mini a wonder tool for the kitchen, Here's my Experience
Ever since I bought pigeon handy pro chopper mini, I use it in the kitchen all the time at least 2-3 times a day (Veg salad has become my favorite snack or meal, with the chopped vegies toss in a spoon each of Flax seed powder & peanuts.
It works really good, the blades are of good quality, nice & sharp and chops the veggies very fine. The blades have not bent even after using it so much.
Few tips for using the gadget:
- Definitely you need to chop all the vegies to make it to 1 inch pieces. This chopper will help mash them into finer pieces suitable for chewing.
- If the chunks are bigger they will get stuck in the blades and will not allow you to pull the string. When you know the string is tight and cannot be pulled, either make them smaller chunks or try will smaller loads into the chopper. It makes it perfect mash. You don’t feel tired jaws anymore
- Optimal usage is : Pull the strings 5-7 times, then shake the chopper 2 -3 times around. Then try 3-5 times pulling. By now you should have small 2-4 mm chops which cannot by us manually.
- The best part about the Chopper is, it retains the water content as is even while chopping Tomatoes & Cucumber
- I can definitely vouch for Chopper’s performance for cutting Tomatoes, Onions, Carrots, Cucumber, Beetroot, Lettuce, Green Peppers and more
- Don’t try cutting Coconut pieces or Hard Food like this, the blades are not intended for that.
Now after 3 months of use, a small part of the bowl broke while using it and another piece is on the verge of breaking, so I had to repurchase it. It would have been better if the bowl was a bit more on the superior quality side. I don’t think it’s bad for the price. Overall the product is good, not bad at all!
Point to be noted while while Using Pigeon handy Pro Chopper
Mini –
- Bowl Should be filled Less than ¾th and Around ⅔rd to maintain the Chopper bowl for Longer duration
- The pull string works properly. Just ensure to use the pull string at an angle to not cut the top since the build is of plastic
